Ikebukuro    TOKYO, Tokyo Prefecture

Ikebukuro is mostly known as a shopping district, and less notably as an amusement area. The area boasts many gigantic shopping malls including the world's largest, Seibu and Tobu, with modern innovations, up-and-coming designers, and a basement food market. The Sunshine City complex was built on the former Sugamo Prison that held and hung seven convicted Class-A WWII war criminals, including Prime Minister Tojo Hideki. The Sunshine complex also houses the Ancient Orient Museum and Amlux Toyota where you can sit in any model car displayed on five floors.
