Itineraries for Japan
The following are "model" itineraries we have created based on our experience and highlighting what, in our opinion, a "normal" (which should mean "above-average") tourist should see and do in the given length of time for this attraction.
Normally these itineraries are in order, based, again, on what we consider are the "optimal" tour lengths, or if they are for specific departures, then they are in chronological order by departure date for this attraction.
Following the attraction itineraries are all the relevant city and country itineraries for your reference. Please click on an "itinerary" you are interested in for additional information, usually including the daily itinerary, a terms and conditions sheet, a sheet with other useful information and a reservation sheet, if appropriate. If you don't have the free progam, Adobe Reader, you can download and install it by clicking on its icon at the top or bottom of these listings. If you do not wish to view these itineraries in Adobe Reader, please phone or email us and we will be happy to mail, fax or email you copies in other formats.

Japan: Model 16-Day Itinerary-plum
Late Summer Departure Appropriate tour for those with a greater interest in Korea, as well as teachers and students who need to be back in school before Labor Day.
ROUTING: Seoul, South Korea; Beijing, China; Pyongyang, Kaesong, Myohyang, Panmunjom, Pyongyang, North Korea; Beijing, China.
PRICE: US$3,771 per person based on double occupancy (see itinerary for details; single supplement $765).
This carefully planned Korea tour includes both South Korea (4 days) and North Korea (5 days). It departs from North America on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 (although anyone may join if they can arrive in Seoul by the evening of July 30th). It begins in Seoul and ends in Beijing.
Sightseeing in Seoul will provide a good counterbalance to sights seen in North Korea. In addition to all expenses in North Korea and most expenses in Seoul and Beijing, the tour price includes round-trip coach air from Beijing to Pyongyang, and admission to all sights in the itinerary. It also includes admission to an Arirang Mass Performance with seating in the 1st class section ($150 tickets). Optional pre- and post- travel plans to South Korea, China and other Asian destinations can also be arranged.
This Korea tour is open to members of the general public, including Korean-Americans with U.S. passports (although not to those holding only a Green Card). The tour is scheduled to be led by Walter L. Keats, an experienced tour leader who has visited North Korea 16 times since 1995.
